Box Turtle

Michelle was away for the weekend and I was at home watching the three kids.  In the back yard we found a box turtle!  And not too far away Luna starting sniffing then digging in the ground and we found three eggs buried there.  We are not sure if the turtle and the eggs are related or not.  We decided to keep them of course.  I found some limited info on the internet about how to hatch turtle eggs.  So now we have a nest of eggs incubating above our hot water heater in the garage (the other option was above the refridgerator, but Michelle was not too keen on that).  Maybe we will have some baby turtles (or snakes or alligators?) in a few weeks.

Favorite Things

Everything that Havana and Asia like revolves around food.  They enjoy going with me to do Kids Home Depot projects on Saturdays.  But mostly they like it because of the hot dog stand by the front door.  No matter what time of day they want to stop for a hot dog, chips and "spicy" (a soda).

The girls also enjoy going with me to get my hair cut (my barber loves kids and likes to "rainbow" their hair and she gives them lollipops or gum).  They also like going to the restaurant for breakfast with me on Sunday mornings (lollipops by the cash register), the grocery store (free cookies at the bakery) and Target (popcorn and icees).
